What kind of support does Racext offer for installing chip tuning modules?

CHIP TUNING FOR AJS Model 14

We recommend that you start using the additional module for AJS Model 14 with the knob set to minimum and gradually increase the knob until you find the setting that is best for your bike. Slightly modified bikes (sport exhaust, air cleaner etc) generally have better performance with the ring set around the midle if the bike has an aftermarket.

When the catalytic converter has been removed. The original standard performance will be at the minimum value on the ECU.

If the AJS Model 14 during execution is too rich, then the setting must be set between litle and then minimum.

You will feel the performance of the bike when the engine is running smoothly, no need to do a Dyno test.

WARNING Please avoid falling into the trap of thinking that the higher the set value, the better the performance.

If it appears that you are losing torque when you get to high speeds this probably means that the ECU value has been set too high and you need to try a lower value.

This is another reason why it is best to start with a low level and gradually raise the knob to the maxmimum setting.

To mount the module on your AJS Model 14 you will need to locate the air temperature sensor (IAT) which is located near the airbox on most motorcycles.
