SCR is based on the removal or reduction of NOx emissions in the engine as a result of the combustion of fuel and air, which is managed for AdBlue or DEEF (Diesel Engine Exhaust Fluid) solution. Indeed, SCR is the name of this technology and AdBlue is the catalytic solution of the reaction. What is ADBLUE and how does it work on RENAULT C380 Series ?

On most cars manufactured after 2015, AdBlue is built with the aim of exceeding the Euro 5 and Euro 6 standards and significantly reduce the amounts of NOx.

AdBlue has a separate tank in most cars which is usually located next to the fuel tank or under the spare wheels. Note that the AdBlue liquid must be stored in special containers built with a special technology. In fact, AdBlue cannot and must not be kept in any container.

How does AdBlue reduce emissions for RENAULT C380 Series ?
