What is the IAT sensor?

Thanks to the information on the temperature provided by the IAT, the control unit (ECU) coherently increases the fuel injection or decreases it based on the detected temperature data.

How is the iat sensor composed?

it is an NTC that is a resistance that changes its value as the temperature changes in a negative way (the lower the temperature, the higher the resistance value and vice versa).

Then the IAT transforms the temperature into a resistance value, which can therefore be interpreted by the control unit.
