How to install the ECU remap cable?

O / S requirements for running the cable: Windows XP or XP mode on Windows7 32 bit

Note Before You Begin: Disable or uninstall anti-virus software on your computer in case of software corruption.

Now we can start the configuration:

1. Insert the disk supplied with the Galletto cable into your computer and copy the file to your desktop.
2. Connect your Galletto cable to the ECU. You can do it in the car. Make sure the ECU is stable and enough power supply.
3. Connect the cable to the PC and the “Found New Hardware Wizard” message will appear. Follow the system instructions to install the driver.
4. Open the ECU box and connect the ECU to the bench harness.
5. Touch PIN 24 on the flash chip (800BB) to the ground. It is the 2nd in from the bottom left side. The chip when you look at it should have a circle in the upper right corner (indicating PIN 1). After touching PIN 24 to ground, turn on the ignition switch and remove grounding from PIN 24 approximately 2-3 seconds later. You are now in BOOT MODE.

6. Start the EOBD1260.exe program. It should look like this: If you want to remap the ECU at the moment, please read on:

1. Select the 29F800BB memory layout and then your car brand.
2. Select the ECU type and car model.
3. Choose “Read ECU” to read the file from the ECU. You will be asked where to save the file.
4. Select Write ECU to write the file to the ECU
5. Go out and unplug the cable when you’re done.
