8. Wrench to unscrew the oil cap;
9. Old rags or paper towels.

How to change engine oil and filter?  

1. Put the bike on the stand and change the oil with the engine just warm. The lukewarm oil flows more easily.
2. Use newspaper to protect the floor and parts that could get dirty with a few drops of oil coming out of the engine.
3. Use a tray to collect the used oil and place it under the oil drain plug (the used oil will then pour into the tank using the funnel).
4. Unscrew the cap using the key provided for your motorcycle, pay attention that during the last turns of the key you must hold the cap with your hand to prevent it from falling into the used oil collection tray.
5. Wait patiently for all the old oil to come out of the crankcase.
6. Unscrew the filter using an oil filter wrench
7. Let the oil out of the filter.
8. Carefully clean the filter housing so that at the next motorcycle oil change you will not have too much difficulty in removing the filter to be replaced.
9. Tilt the bike a little to allow even the last drops of stagnant oil to come out of the crankcase.
10. Lubricate the upper edge of the new filter and the gasket that will enter the housing and fill it 1/5 with the new oil.
11. Fit the new filter.
12. Close the drain plug. If you deem it necessary, use a new washer on the oil drain plug. The washer is cheap, but it helps you to preserve the thread of the oil pan.
13. Open the oil tank cap.
14. Fill the tank with the new oil in the quantity indicated in the use and maintenance booklet of your motorcycle.
